Bobbye Crawford
MA, Licensed Mental Health Counselor,
Licensed Clinical Addictions Counselor
As a couples counselor, I am passionate about helping couples prevent pre-mature divorce and to develop the type of relationship they desire to create. Working with couples in recovery from substance use is one of my specialties. I also enjoy working with individual adults. My past experiences of early divorce and personal recovery were the catalyst for my graduate education. When I received my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy, it allowed me to integrate a spiritual approach with my rigorous clinical training. I have gone on to complete post-graduate training focused on integrative modalities in couple’s work. I utilize the Gottman Couples Method and The Developmental Model. My varied experiences working in adult psychiatric settings including inpatient hospital, outpatient/co-occurring disorders, and employee assistance work for a major hospital network add to my expertise in this private practice group.
