By providing an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), employers recognize the importance of supporting valuable employees.

The range of problems that can be addressed with an EAP is wide, as are the benefits to both employees and employers. Some typical situations where an EAP can be used include:

  • A child has a chemical dependency.
  • An employee needs help knowing how to cope with stress generating from a family member's poor health issues.
  • A depressed employee's behavior is causing problems for an entire department.
  • Everyday friction at work has escalated into major drains on productivity.
  • Employee marital or family problems are having an impact on worker productivity, attendance and attitude.

Who are the Providers?

These professionals are credentialed in their respective state and provide services in the following areas:

  • Psychiatry
  • Chiropractic
  • Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapists, Mental Health Counselors
  • Massage Therapists
  • Fitness Trainers

How quickly can a I expect to see a Provider?

  • Has an emergency, he or she will be directed to the nearest access        center or professional immediately.
  • Has an urgent situation, you or your family member will be seen within          48 hours.
  • Has a need for a routine care - appointments are available within 10           days of the request.
How our EAP Works:

§       You call our EAP hotline phone number at (317) 502-0330.    Emergencies are handled 24 hours a day 365 days a year by trained professionals.  Our EAP Assessment Manager matches you or your family member to the EAP Provider based on your particular need, location and specialty.

§    If your phone call is not emergent, our EAP Assessment Manager will contact you within 12 hours after you have placed a call.  The EAP Assessment Manager will offer a brief phone assessment in order to match you to the correct EAP Provider.

§       No monies are exchanged between you and EAP Provider at the time of service. You agree simply show your Groff & Associates ID card to the EAP provider at the time of service.
